Course: The course is made up of trails, water, sand, hills, grass. This is a team building event that the runners will thoroughly enjoy. The race is at Lake Wilderness State Park, Maple Valley. 
 
 
Kasey Kahne Checkered Flag 5K
The City of Enumclaw honors NASCAR Champion Kasey Kahne with a Labor Day 5K for high school teams.  The race winds through the streets of Enumclaw in a two-loop, flat, fast, spectator-friendly community run.
 
Start/Finish: Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce Bldg. - Cole Street
Race Time: 9:00am
Cost: $50 for teams of 5 or more, $20 for individuals.

Driving Directions.  Exit I-90 at exit 109.  Turn north on Canyon rd.  Turn left on Umptanum rd.  Turn right into park after about 1 mi (right after golf course.)   Drive 0.7 mi on park road to parking lot.  Road is narrow but there is room for school bus turnaround at the parking lot.

Course: 5000 meters on the trail of Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood. About 90% of the course is on dirt roads, trails, or grass, and runners are in view about 75% of the time.  This is the same course used for the South Puget Sound 3A, 4Asub districts as well as the Narrows League Championships.

Beautiful well marked and spectator friendly 5000 m. course (site of the 2006 National xc Age group Championships)
This is a State Meet format race with V. Boys' and V. Girls' along with J.V. Boys and J.V Girls and Jr.High Boys' and Girls' races.
Trophies will be awarded to the top team in each division (all will run together) 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A, and B.  Medals to the top 15 in each Varsity race.  Note time schedule will be earlier this year only.

    Hosted by Bellingham High School at scenic Lake Padden in Bellingham, WA. 
    This will be a “low key” invitational, perfect for JV competition or as a Varsity “tune up” for conference championship competition.
     
    Course: The course will feature one 2.6 mile lap on the wide and well-kept (compact dirt, gravel, and grass) trail around Lake Padden.

    Girls race: 4:00 pm
    Boys race: 4:30 pm
    Awards: 5:15 pm
