Moses Lake Invite

Dear Coach and Athletic Director:

 

You are invited to compete in the 20th annual Moses Lake Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 12th, at Hylander Greens Golf Course. **The reason for this years change in location is due to Moses Lake State Park undergoing construction.** Hylander Greens will be a nice course to run on; it is very flat which should produce some fast times early on in the season. Overall, the entire course will be run on grass so racing flats/spikes are encouraged. The high school race is 5000m in length and consists of 2 laps around the perimeter of the golf course. The middle school race is 1.5 miles and will be one lap on the same course.

 

All registered teams and runners need to be signed up on athletic.net. You will receive an e-mail in the fall as a reminder. We are asking a $30 entry fee per high school ($15 for girls team and $15 for boys team) to offset the cost of meet expenses. Middle school teams are free! If you have a middle school team in your area, please pass this information on to them, or even better have them travel with you to the meet; this could be a great recruiting tool for your team. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 15 runners, with the top runner receiving a medal in both the varsity and middle school races. The top teams in the high school varsity races will receive a trophy.

Parking: Hylander Greens Golf Course is located directly next to Moses Lake Christian Academy.  We may use their parking lot for busses and spectator vehicles.
