Where: CEDARCREST GOLF COURSE—MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON
Races: Begin at 5:00 PM-- [Schedule-Races subject to change…]
JV Boys: 5:00 PM
JV Girls: 5:35 PM
Varsity Boys (Limit 7): 6:15 PM (Teams that will finish in top ½ of their league.)
Varsity Girls (Limit 7): 6:50 PM (Teams that will finish in top ½ of their league.)
Varsity Boys II (Limit 7): 7:25 PM (Top 10 State level teams)
Varsity Girls II (Limit 7): 8:00 PM (Top 10 State level teams)
After an AMAZING year 1 in which you couldn’t script our events any better with the setting, we are going to give it another go in 2008. We have a lot of support from those teams that participated and look to even pick up some corporate sponsors as well---but that stuff is in the works. Last year we had 10 portable light towers on site and are ‘HOPING’ to double that with some help in the area. THIS IS AN EVENT you want to be a part of. The dates for this event had to change due to what Cedarcrest Golf Course can give us with availability. HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US!!! SIGN UP NOW!!! Spots will fill up FAST!!!
How Much: $100 per Boys OR Girls team OR $200 for Boys and Girls Combined teams.
“Returning Teams--$100 per Boys OR Girls Teams; $150 for Boys and Girls Combined teams.”
The Course: The Course is outstanding! It is on rolling terrain and is currently laid out to produce FAST 5K times regardless of weather. There are 2 MAJOR downs and only 1 MAJOR up---you can do the math. We use STATE directional flagging and the environment and course simulate the State meet quite well for those who have teams that may be State qualifiers this season.
Admission: We will be charging a nominal admission fee ($4.00 for adults, $2.00 for students) to help with lighting and golf course fees. Please share with your athletes and parents.
