Welcome to the 25th Annual Westling Invitational at South Whidbey High School named in honor of former track & field and cross country coach Carl Westling. In 2008, we will continue to use the format established a year ago. Invited teams will receive one entry into each event and the remaining spots will be filled with athletes which have the best documented marks in 2008. Our goal is to attract schools from all classifications. Team trophies will be awarded for 1st through 4th place. In addition, traveling trophies will be awarded in girls 1600M (Sarah Wirth memorial), boys pole vault (Gary Peters memorial), boys 100m dash (John Richardson memorial) and 1600M Relay (Bill Borton memorial).
